In 1996 when Butch Freeman became President/Chairman of the Board, he had already been serving as the Oklahoma County Treasurer for 3 years. Freeman is no stranger to public service. He has worked diligently and tirelessly to develop and grow Eastern Oklahoma County. In 1996, Freeman remarked that the area was “on the verge of something great.” Fast forward a few years and look at all the growth and improvements. The Chamber couldn’t ask for a better champion for our area than Butch Freeman. We appreciate all his years of dedication, hard work and commitment to improve and prosper Eastern Oklahoma County. Thank you, Butch Freeman.
